Jason Feifer, editor in chief of Entrepreneur magazine, author, and podcast host, explains “wouldn’t go back” moments, thinking vertically instead of horizontally, the 4 phases of change, the lessons learned from a Baltimore wig shop, and how entrepreneurs are adapting in Ukraine, talks John Philip Sousa and “the menace of mechanical music”, and details the forward-thinking theory of work that lands you your next big opportunity, how time expands under pressure, and the importance of always asking “what else do I know?”
About Jason:
Jason Feifer is the editor in chief of Entrepreneur magazine, author of the book “Build For Tomorrow”, and host of two podcasts: “Build For Tomorrow” (same name as the book), and “Problem Solvers”.
Prior to Entrepreneur, Jason worked as an editor at Men’s Health, Deputy Editor of Maxim, and Boston and Fast Company magazines, and has written about business and technology for the Washington Post, Slate, New York, and others. Jason’s previous book, a romantic comedy that he wrote with his wife called “Mr. Nice Guy”, is currently being developed for television. Jason is also a keynote speaker, startup advisor, and nonstop optimism machine. His goal is to help you become more resilient and adaptable in a world of constant change — so you can seize new opportunity before anyone else does!
Jason wants to help people reach their “Wouldn’t Go Back” moment, a moment when your career or life changes, and you adapt (because you wanted to or were forced to!) — and then you discover something so beneficial and transformational that you say, “I wouldn’t want to go back to a time before I had this.” He’s seen this happen over and over again, with small entrepreneurs to the most successful people in the world, and studied the patterns.
